All members are included in this award program at no extra charge.

The awards and prizes will be handed out at the end of each year and mailed to each recipient. Members can nominate one another for any of the offered categories, otherwise, prizes will be determined by the manager.

 

Examples of the offered awards:

Rookie of the Year - The Rookie is someone who showed competitively for the first time in 2025.  Members from any division are eligible to be nominated for this award.

 

Senior of the Year - Nominees for the senior award should be members who are in the senior division.  This person doesn’t necessarily have to be someone who competed in the most amount of shows, but could be any senior who had an active, visible presence at shows and events.

 

Volunteer of the Year - Nominees for the volunteer award are club members who work behind the scenes to help keep the club growing.  They may be “unseen” members but you can feel their presence even if they aren’t there.

 

Most Improved Award - Nominees should be in their second or third year of competing.  They are no longer eligible for the Rookie award but are still fairly new at liberty.  Maybe they tried new classes or levels or just competed in more shows.

 

Team Player Award -  Nominees for Team Player embrace the “one for all and all for one” motto.  They show incredible flexibility and jump in whenever extra assistance is needed.  No matter the ask, they come through for the club.

 

Club Spirit Award - We frequently say that our club is like family because we are all so supportive and encouraging.  Whether it is at club events, shows, or even social media,  the spirit award member is always there with a hug, smile, or kind words.

 

Connection Award - For a member who has a distinct, special connection with their horse or horses. The partnership and harmony are evident.

 

Perseverance Award- Life can throw some crazy lemons sometimes.  Who took those lemons and made the best lemonade?

 

Life of the Party Award- This award is for the member that brings the most energy and fun to club events.

 

Unsung Hero Award - An individual who makes significant contributions without seeking recognition. Someone who often goes unseen.
